Today Hyundai announce its new and strong hybrid Powertrain engine, that offers upto 45% better fuel efficiency and 19% more power than ICE engine. this engine come with same category as ICE engine.
As Hyundai Motor Group announce its first hybrid Powertrain engine, which will fuel the new generation mid-range hybrid vehicle. The next-gen hybrid engine features a transmission with two motors that gives a flexible range of combustion engines. It also produces good fuel efficiency and more torque compared to today’s engine.
The newly developed transmission module has two motors, i.e. P1 and P2, each with its own characteristics and efficiency. P1 motor is responsible for handling starting, battery energy generation and deployment of energy, whereas the other transmission motor, P2, is responsible for the regenerative brake system and propulsion.
By integrating these two motors, it will increase fuel efficiency and reduce noise. It will also give next-level experience driving experience.
The Hyundai Group improved its engine design technology.
The Group also plans to introduce a rear-wheel-drive(RWD) 2.5 turbo hybrid system next year and gradually expand its hybrid technology to the Genesis luxury brand by applying this powertrain to key models over time.
For all future hybrid models, the Hyundai Group plans to apply the newly unveiled hybrid system and further electrification-focused technologies, tailoring them to the characteristics of individual vehicles and classes and regional market requirements.
